Is your life similar to the Energizer Bunny?

Stop in the name of Love before you break my heart, think it ooh-over, think it Oooh-Over, stop!

Life has us going, going, and going. We are over here, over there, we just seem to be everywhere.  Sometimes we feel as though the more we do the better life will be.  We strive to reach that perfect something we call success.

However, we go, go , and go never taking the time to REST, so your SOUL can catch up with our body.  Life teaches us all sorts of lessons, but are we really listening.  We must stop and listen and let the lessons really sink into our souls.  As we go, go, go habits form and regular routines set in, and we don’t take the time to really understand why we are really doing a thing. Sometimes those habits are not good habits. Those regular routines are not really necessary and are taking away from what we really should be doing. We must learn to make the time to  stop and listen to the soul to know and understand ourselves and our intentions.

Did you know that the heart was originally designed to be our compass in life. However, distortion due to hurt, pain, and society as a whole seeped in and it has made us afraid to follow our heart.

Relax and Remove the “S”

Purpose, Purpose, Purpose.  We hear this word constantly.  It has become the term of the Century.  It can be difficult to pin point your true purpose because life itself is progressive and its ever changing.  You may have burning desires and dreams in which you want to fulfill. But what is your real true purpose. The truth is you can’t pin point your true purpose until you remove the “s” from desire(s) and dream(s)

Let’s use Napoleon Hill for example. He talked about having a “definiteness of Purpose”. Definiteness and purpose speaks one, not many.  In other words, either it’s this or it’s that.  Neither Definiteness or purpose are plural. Napoleon Hill’s definiteness of purpose was to spread his “Philosophy of Achievement.”  It wasn’t to write a book, or to speak in front of thousands of people. Even though he wrote many books, spoke at many conferences and his words and his presence inspired and helped many people.  Those aspects of his achievements were conducive to the pursuit of his definiteness of purpose.  His focus was on spreading his philosophy of achievement, that is what drove him.  That was his burning desire. The book “Think and Grow Rich” was produced out of his desire to spread his philosophy of achievement.  His definiteness of Purpose became his posthumous prosperity, AKA his Legacy!

Ask yourself the question again without the S. What is my burning desire? What is my Dream?

I challenge you to do some research to find out what was the visionaries purpose behind the following companies:  Haagen-Dazs ice Cream, Coca-Cola, and Apple Computer.  These are all companies that have been around for years and will probably be around for many more continually reaping posthumous prosperities.

I encourage you to take some time to yourself and connect with that burning desire. Then stay focused on that burning desire, which is your definiteness of Purpose and let it lead you to birthing your posthumous prosperity, aka Your Legacy.  Relax, Enjoy, Appreciate Life
